I have presented a paper on "Open Source Software – Library Implications" for the NATIONAL CONFERENCE on "NETWORKING OF LIBRARIES, RESOURCES, TECHNOLOGIES AND USERS IN THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY" organized by National Engineering College, Kovilpati on 13th to 15th October 2011.
It is nice to meet so many Library Professionals at one place. This is really a great opportunity in the conferences. Jeyapragash Sir of Bharthidasan Univ, Sivakumaran Sir of MIT made the paper presentation session lively. They have asked so many questions towards all presenters. :) This shows their Knowledge in Subject. They have raised questions for my paper also. Then only I could understand the mistake in my paper. Thanks to them. As usual, Hariharan Sir inspired all by His Sincerity & His Suggestions.
Another beautiful thing in this conference, M.S.University Librarian Dr Thirumagal Mam given the offer of providing Review of Literature for Research Work of all our college Staff. & Scad Engineering College Librarian Smt.Selva Mariyammal has accepted to support for IEEE paper. MIT Assistant Librarian has accepted to support full text paper available at MIT. These are great services provided by them beyond the Library & Institution. Hats Off to them.
